Launching in 2014, Matt Nash Uniform produces hardworking clothing that references vintage New Zealand workwear. A lucky coin is sewn into each garment, bringing luck and safety to its owner. Our range of practical workwear is available online and in select stores. Matt Nash Uniform also creates custom uniforms for cafés, retail stores, restaurants and even ceramicists, winemakers and woodworkers. Matt Nash Uniform is designed and made in New Zealand.
Our aprons are designed to be worn for years - they wear in, not out. We use tailoring techniques like double folding seams, a construction that means all the raw edges are sewn into the garment for a more premium and hard-wearing finish.   All Matt Nash Uniform garments and bags are sewn in Northland in our studio, or in the home studios of our talented machinists. We love working with these skilled machinists who bring a lifetime's experience to their work. Their construction knowledge and expertise means all our styles are always undergoing small tweaks to provide sturdier and more robust construction.
We are interested in limiting our environmental impact. Our production process has minimal waste (which is just good business practice as much as it is sustainable). We use recyclable paper and cardboard packaging and courier post bags that are made from 80% recycled plastic. All M.N Uniform pieces are well constructed with good quality materials. We offer free repairs for life, so your M.N Uniform piece shouldn’t ever head to landfill.
We can help you with your team’s full uniform by providing high-quality basics to complement our Matt Nash Uniform aprons. We partner with New Zealand company AS Colour to provide high-quality tees, long-sleeve shirts, caps and more. We can screen-print or embroider garments or bags with your branding. We just require an EPS or JPEG file of your logo to get started.
We love teaming up with people to create beautiful and unique products. We get a thrill from working on creative projects with awesome brands. Some of our collabs have included custom tote bags for Xbox and Ecostore, rucksacks for Triumph and Disaster, custom oilskin aprons for Orphans Kitchen, and leather luggage tags for Nurture Change. Contact us to discuss your upcoming project.
